Who we are

Studio Gasperini srl was founded by the architect Lorenzo Gasperini. Heads of the studio are the two Co-president & CEO Lorenzo Gasperini and Michele Valentinuzzi, both of them working like independent contractor by administering the company side by side to professional co-worker.

Studiogasperini covers the following sectors:

architecture, urban planning, interior design, technical services, design and supply of furniture.

We follow the projects from the necessary construction permits to economic analysis up to safety practices under Law No. 81/2009 (Safety Plans and Coordination, Operational Safety Plans, Unique Document Evaluation of Interference Risk, Prior notification, etc.). We treat also urban planning and land registers.

Working under a general contractor process allows us to provide full support service, from the design development to its realisation in every detail.

Lorenzo Gasperini- Senior Architect-Co-president & CEO

Born in Trieste in November 1957, graduated in architecture in 1982 and licensed one year later, become a self-employed professional in 1984.

Registration in the Register of technical advisers of Justice of Civil and Criminal Court of Trieste (Tribunale Civile e Penale di Trieste). Registration in the professional register of Industrial Engineer among the Civil and Criminal Court of Trieste.  Registration in the regional list of inspectors at number 583 for construction works and technical system. “Possesso dei requisiti richiesti dall’ art. 19 comma 1 e 2 del d.lgs 494/96, successivamente integrati ed aggiornati da quanto previsto dal d.lgs 81/2008”. Member of Building Committee of Duino Aurisina between 1989 and 1992. Member of Building Committee of Muggia between 1996 and 2006. Member of Building Committee of Trieste between 2006 and 2008.  Member of Committee of Trieste for urban design quality from 2010 to 2011.  City Councillor responsible for Muggia town planning from decembre 1996 to april 2006. Mayor of Muggia Town from June 2001 to april 2006.

Michele Valentinuzzi- Architecture technician-Co-president & CEO

Born in Trieste in March 1971 he graduated at I.T.G. Max Fabiani in 1990 and licensed in the Register of Geometri of Trieste in 2001. From 1991 to 1994 he collaborated at the architecture Studio Promaco Consultants (coworkers Archt. Cusma, Arch. Gasperini, Arch. Zini and Eng. Zini Sergio). From 1994 he become first a collaborator of the Lorenzo Gasperini’s Studio and then a business partner for Studiogasperini srl in 2014. In the first years he specialise himself in technical services like cadastral documents and later in planning management, supervision of work and event organizer.

Paula Palacios- Interior designer

Born and graduated in interior design in Buenos Aires, arrived in Italy with the purpose to explore and travel through Europe.  In 2004 she began to collaborate with the Studio of Lorenzo Gasperini.

After that she worked with other professionals acquiring new skills in urban planning, interior design and architecture. She attended to many 3d courses, feng shui architecture and took part at some national design contests. In January 2015 starts to work with Studiogasperini srl permanently.

Giulia Ratman- Architecture Technician
Born in Trieste she graduated at I.T.G. Max Fabiani in Trieste. She worked in the Studio since 2004 until now. She handles all the administrative and accounting procedures in addition to the technical services of the Studio.
Irene Vodopivec- Architect I

Born in Trieste in 1989 she graduated with a Master’s Degree in Architecture in 2014. In the same year she started to work with Studiogasperini where she follows different planning’s area.
She is a licensed architect with safety coordinator skills (D.Lgs 81/2008), knows English, German and many designing and planning software.

Michele Parenzan- Architect

Born in Trieste in 1988 he graduated with a Master’s Degree in Architecture in 2015 with a project of restoration/extension for the Obelisco Hotel in Opicina. In the same year he started to collaborate with Studiogasperini where he follows different projects from design development to construction works, from communication design to promotion strategies.

In 2012 won the special mention for a winery project in Trieste in the Competition “Spazio diVINO 2012”, rewarded also at the XIII Biennale di Architettura.

Giulio Dagostini- Architect

Born in Trieste in 1988. He graduate with a Master’s Degree in Architecture in 2015. His thesis was about a project of restoration/extension for the Obelisco Hotel in Opicina.
After working through the Erasmus program at the Portuguese architecture “Studio Dois”, he started to collaborate with Studiogasperini srl as a designer and architect.
He also took part in several international architecture competitions and workshops, graphic design projects and worked in the field of association. Another passion of him is painting, passion that brought him to attend the drawing school of Artist Cervi Kervischer.
In 2012 won the special mention for a winery project in Trieste in the Competition “Spazio diVINO 2012” rewarded also at the XIII Biennale di Architettura.
